Let's call the whole thing off
I finished watching this movie today. (FYI it's super quiet so you may have to turn your speakers up a lot. Oh and you have to click on the sifter to play the video.)
I think they're so charming and funny together. Just look at Fred Astaire's face when Ginger Rogers says 'oysters'!

I love Fred and Ginger! I used to set my alarm to wake up at 2 am to watch their movies because none of the channels ever showed them during the day. I like all of their movies, but my favorites are Follow the Fleet, Swing Time, Carefree, and maybe The Story of Vernon and Irene Castle. And - just to be long-winded and obsessive about it - my favorite dance routines are the ones to "Night and Day" from The Gay Divorcée, "I'll Be Hard to Handle" from Roberta, "Isn't This a Lovely Day" and "Cheek to Cheek" from Top Hat, "Let Yourself Go" and "I'm Putting All My Eggs in One Basket" (their only slapstick dance routine) from Follow the Fleet, "Pick Yourself Up" and "Never Gonna Dance" (the best ever!) from Swing Time, "They All Laughed" from Shall We Dance, "The Yam" from Carefree, and "Bouncin' the Blues" from The Barkleys of Broadway. One of these days I'm going to buy the dvd sets of all their movies.
I know you've showed me some of those parts and some of the entire movies as well, but it's been forever so I'm going to look those up and record them! I love having dvr...
