Nathan's Boithday

Nathan chose to go to the arcade for his birthday, and we were lucky enough to have Jared's mom and my parents with us that day.  There was cake and presents after.

Later I told Nathan he could either have a birthday party for a bunch of friends or he could just choose two (that's all I had room for in my car) to go to a public pool and get dinner with.  He switched back and forth a few times until I told him he had to decide or he wasn't getting either one.  So he decided to do the pool idea.  I did feel bad since he wanted to bring a couple more friends but I guess that will have to wait until we get a minivan someday!  Anyway, they had fun and they got these clip on mustache things in their kids' meals that they thought were hilarious.  It was so funny to listen to them talking to each other in the back.

Rylay Partay

This was an easy party.  Easy peasy lemon squeezey.

Rylie wanted to invite a couple of other girls at the last minute but we weren't able to get a hold of them in time.  Also it was supposed to be a fake pool party, but it ended up being too cool to get wet outside (still warm enough for popsicles, thank goodness).

Anyway, they mostly played in the backyard and inside, and they had two popsicles each and I made really simple friendship bracelets for them (Rylie didn't want to wear hers, so she's the one not showing her wrist in that picture).

I had to put both the last two cause the kids are so adorable. :)

Rylay? How do you know about Rylay?

The post title is something Jared says sometimes.  It's almost a quote from Pirates of the Caribbean.  I am seriously tired of typing after the ridiculousness that was my last post.  But you didn't have to type that much, you may say.  I say, I know, and now I want to take a nap.

So this is Rylie's birthday recap post.  We had a family-only celebration on her actual birthday, and then much later on had a friend party.  Here are pictures...

Cake, presents from parents, Grandma and Grandpa Wood and Grandma and Grandpa Swinford:

Presents a day or two later from Grandma Spees:

I'll put the party pictures in a separate post since there are quite a few of them.
