damage control

The last several days my kids have been on another destructive kick. I think it's the stir-craziness... it's too hot to go outside for most of the day. Fortunately we have big plans tomorrow (and by big plans I mean visiting the playground in the mall).

And fortunately I have this guy...

...and he left all this in the fridge!Beth, you'd better hurry or they'll be all gone! Haha JK I think somebody might kill me if I ate them all.

best ever

Jared and I made hot fudge coconut shakes today... They were the best I'd ever tasted!

We used chocolate ice cream, milk, hot fudge, coconut flakes and a few drops of coconut extract. I would love to try a plain coconut shake sometime because the coconut extract worked so well.

Jared is making cheesecake because Beth is coming out this week... I should probably just give up.

Our Independence Day weekend was pretty awesome. We're very blessed. I'd promise to write more about it later, but I kinda hate that I rarely follow through so I'm just going to forgo saying that this time around.
