worth it

We got Nathan an alarm clock from DI. He loves it. The sound isn't very pleasant after hearing it 15 times in a row, but I like to think he's learning. And I can teach him how to tell time with it, since we have no clocks in our house (we use cell phones, microwave/oven, or the computer to tell time).

Your kid is so smart! We were going through some book the other day and he started spelling the names of the colors out using the ASL alphabet! And he says "tissue" and "indeed"! What a hoot.

thanks mom! yeah he can't read yet (doesn't want to sound out things much yet) but he loves to spell... and he knows most of the alphabet in asl.
I've got to stop saying 'indeed'... it's all my fault.

He can't read?! My word, he's nearly 3! What's wrong with him!? PS I love your face, too. You look really thrilled by the alarm clock.
